About Kimberly Deme
11 years ago Kimberly Deme, disillusioned with a health care system that had failed her baby boy, gave up teaching and embarked on a personal journey towards becoming one of the leading naturopaths in her field.
Kimberly's second son, having been born a perfectly healthy 3.4kg baby, would within months undergo a traumatic transformation, developing severe eczema covering his entire body. His eventual hospitalization lead to months of systematic trial and error procedures; rather than helping, this only added to the agony for Kimberly and her family as they were seeing little to no results. On top of this, Kimberly's enquiries into dietary concerns were shrugged off by specialists who had resoundingly told her "atopic eczema was not dietary related".
Frustrated by the reluctance of the health care system to look beyond the traditional treatments, Kimberly took matters into her own hands. She visited a nutritionist, amazingly her simple diagnosis of food intolerance, which had lead to an imbalance of toxins in her son's system, aided a treatment which would lead to his complete recovery.
Kimberly was inspired by the alternate practice of 'Naturopathy' - the belief that the body, given the right environment and nutrients, can achieve balance and sustain itself. After giving up teaching, she first worked in the hospital system as a remedial therapist for mothers and their babies before completing her Bachelor of Applied Sciences in Naturopathic Studies at the University of Western Sydney.
Kimberly's practice now leads the way in bringing together naturopathic medicine and conventional medical sciences - to effectively address a whole array of patients' medical conditions and make a positive difference to their lives.
Kimberly knows that individuals going through health concerns are normally making decisions at challenging times. Working with their dedication, Kimberly's goal is to empower her patients to make the right decisions for their health and fulfill their potential
